CONTINUING THE LEGACY,
ADVANCING THE DREAM
Please answer Dr. Frymann’s call to the community by making a gift in her name. Dr. Frymann’s key funding priorities:
PATIENT ASSISTANCE FUND
The Patient Assistance Fund gives hope to children. The fund offers financial assistance to children diagnosed with critical or chronic illnesses. Help us meet the needs of all children applying for help by providing $30,000 annually for osteopathic treatment at the Osteopathic Center for Children (OCC). For more than 24 years, Osteopathy’s Promise to Children has been helping to improve the lives of children by providing more than $700,000 in free and discounted pediatric osteopathic manual treatments through grant support to the Osteopathic Center for Children.
If you are looking for a way to invest in the future of osteopathy, then the Scholarship Fund is a good place to start! Many of our medical students rely on these scholarships in order to attend the 40-hour Foundations for Osteopathic Cranial Manipulative Medicine Course, a hands-on introductory course where our students can learn the scope of practice of osteopathy in the cranial field. We have a funding goal of $5,000 each year to meet ongoing scholarship requests. In the last 10 years, OPC has invested more than $800,000 in CME educational programming and trained more than 1,000 osteopathic health professionals from the U.S. and around the world.
Dedicated to supporting the capital and operating expenses of the new center, the Building Fund seeks to create and sustain opportunities at the center by funding its operations, improvements and maintenance in order to ensure Dr. Frymann’s vision for the center. Our goal is $1,000,000 by 2020 and we are a quarter of the way there! OPC leveraged previous donations for the $2.5 million cash purchase of the new building at 3706 Ruffin Rd., San Diego, California.
